Can it be found in gifts wrapped in luxurious… (no wait, maybe more minimal grace?), one perfect dew drop twinkle (...or maybe a whole besprinkle of Christmas twinkle?) and how about when we add (a big… or…) a barely there tinsel bow…?
... and so first we fussed over the perfect gifts and then the perfect gift wrapping and even fretted over the tacking, is this too much muchness or still too little to give us that perfect, perfect Christmassy glow…?
A kinder Christmas Eve reminder is that there's floaty bits of the perfect Christmas glow yet to be found…
sure, it could be in your fanciest of wrapping or the biggest gift around,
... or you could find it in perfectly matching “just brought this inside” silvery green bits of nature (Stachys byzantina to use the correct nomenclature) with silvery tinsel sheen...
…for a leaf-gifts-on-a-snow-drift Christmas Eve table-scape,
But mostly… could it not be that the perfect Christmas glow for “your people” is simply… you… no matter how the Season takes shape?
... it could be that what really fills us with bliss...
... it could be that the most perfect Christmas gift glow we unwrap is this:
it’s the care we took in the choosing. And if this matters to us, the thought we put into the giftwrap we are using.
It’s us, making an effort to show our unique connection.
It’s a “I saw this and thought of YOU “ gift selection (filled with an inside joke for cheer or a heartfelt thanks that matches our tone, or stuffed to the brim with affection!!! or a shared memory of the year) that lets us catch and keep all those floaty bits of the our kind of Christmas glowing perfection, celebrated in our kind of just right.
