Wow, flower buddies, this is absolutely the week for a wreath, a symbol of the continued cycle of life, of achievement and warm welcomes. And we are absolutely celebrating an achievement this week! This is design week 777 for me. Meaning I have added a Design with an original Tutorial to my website for 777 weeks… straight. Not a single week missed from when I started the My Creative Workbook website in 2010! It adds up to 819 designs, 1035 Tutorials in 777 weeks.
And so this week we are hanging our Christmas 2025 wreath….
The wreath signals the return of warm welcoming Festive gleam.
All week we trimmed and adjusted to make sure it stays pristine.
Each twig was inspected, each bauble aligned
… the jolly of simply decking and trimming for Christmas left far, far behind.
Sometimes it’s a new invitation, other times a memory nudge that lifts us right back
to how we truly enjoy it… a new yuletide vibe or with rituals so true and tested we really should get it inscribed on a plaque.
No matter what design statement you are making this year my design wish for you is to let the nature of your nature appear.
It’s still our tiniest “this is how I do it” tweak-touches that make our own Christmas meaningful, memorable and oh so unique.
Because the beauty? The beauty of nature is already here.
