’Twas 5 weeks and 1 day (too early for some... but please hear me out…) before Christmas, the swag was already strung,
each perfect twig placed with purpose, each ribbon precisely hung.
We stressed over ideal spacing, the twist and the line.
Perfection, we thought, is what’s needed to make this whole design shine.
But soon all this fretting over flawless...
made even our tried and tested Christmas effort feel rather staged and… well… thoughtless.
Floral designers, we’ve got this, nature already taught us what to do…
So why not allow for some perfect imperfections to happen too?
What if, instead of all this fussing,
it was our own Christmas twinkle that simply asked for gentle adjusting?
The joy in the making restored, no longer worn threadbare and thin
it’s our own creativity that sparked it… and on we designed with a grin.
