YES! Amazing right?
This is how a small technique you thought up years and years ago in your design room can grow up and go live this whole life all of its own out there in the big world.
Sparkle on tiny crystals! And sparkle on to all the designers who have also fallen in love with adding tiny crystals to their designs.
Design note: Many of you are also asking exactly which crystals I am using because well… some of them look a bit lack-lustre after being exposed to water... and how do we keep them from dropping!?!
Yes, I know it is frustrating when design techniques go viral because along the way it gets slightly watered down for convenience and it loses some of the “Know How” as it gets passed on… and on… and on. Linked below is the updated (original was created way back on 8 July 2015) Tutorial with new design notes to make sure the crystals do not drop.
And I've created a new link below to show you exactly which ones I buy. After 11 years of experimenting I found these, they are a higher quality crystal sparkle that won't tarnish when exposed to water.
*Just also note, some of you mentioned that you are a bit confused because you can't find the Dew Drop crystals. I started calling them “dew drops” because (just like so many of my techniques that have also gone viral over the years) I think up everything I show here on my website. They are all my original ideas. And then I have to think up what to call what I create.
The things I show here are not really a “thing” until we make it one.
