This is the third of my Christmas 2021 series of designs. This year in the form of a mini workshop… my Christmas present to you. We will explore how to patina Copper and use it to craft beautiful Festive floral accessories. Follow along each week leading up to Christmas to complete the entire mini workshop just before the start of 2022.
Have a Merry Festive Season, flower buddies. This week I will show you my "tweak" the “basic” technique to show you have to add a green tinge to the patina on copper. Enjoy!

Easiest bell DIY. Add a bit more character by chemically treating the bell to have a lovely green patina.
The colour and the effect will vary due to application, temperature and humidity.

My work is usually so labour intensive... this one came as a wonderful surprise... it really is both quick and easy to craft this wreath!
I use two methods (or a combination of both) to attach a wreath to a door.
Craft a small pouch into a half-and-half wreath so that you can leave... and receive tiny gifts and cards in true Christmas 2020 style .
Wrap wire around a cardboard star for a quick three dimensional decoration.
Wire the tiny little bells so that they dangle loosely and will jingle with the slightest breeze
Glue gypsophila sticks, flowers and dandelion seeds into a star shape
Split a twig to create a t connection to hover a twig over the design
Use a cardboard shape to craft a simple wire Christmas star
