Cut sticky tape and fix two lengths to cross from one side to the other over the clear vase or tray
Leave a little bit of space between the sticky tape for the flowers stems to rest in the water
Once these sticky tape lengths are in place it is easy to add and extend additional strips for the plant material to rest on
Fill the tray with water to just below the openings at the sides or just below the tape (depending on your container)
Measure the stems to be just shorter than the depth of the container
Set the flowers into the grid,
... letting it rest on the sticky tape
... with the stems in the water below
The sticky tape will be completely invisible
