Flower Girl’s Butterfly Net and Ring Bearers Bug Box

Two fairy tale design details…

Chrysanthemum petals to scatter.

that will capture the imagination of even the youngest members of your wedding party.

Bug box for the Ring Bearer.

A tiny bug box to carry your rings in for the ring bearer…

Fill the flower girl butterfly net with Chrysanthemum petals.

and a small butterfly net

Decorate the net with ivy and palm leaf butterflies.

filled with confetti petals for a small flower girl to scatter down the aisle.

Tie the wedding rings to the bug box with ribbon.

I wanted the designs to look fairy made and natural rather than perfect and straight.

Glue a few palm leaf and Chrysanthemum petal butterflies to the bug box

Although very few flowers are arranged into the designs, you will find that you use quite a few willow and hazel branches to weave with.

Willow and Hazel butterfly net for a flower girl.

You can do these months ahead of the wedding and simply add a few blossoms, ivy or Chrysanthemum petal and palm leaf butterflies before the wedding, as I did here.

The designs are quite durable and will endure scrutiny by curious little hands even though they may look delicate and fragile.
