Making the Bug Box

Use four twigs to build two side panels.

Wire a rectangle from four willow twigs.

Tie four twigs to create the side panels.

Make another panel exactly the same size as the first.

Connect the side panels with four shorter twigs.

Separate the two panels with four short twigs and secure with wire to create a box

Tie the two side panels to create the bug box.

Make sure the box is perfectly balanced and can stand straight up.

Add a few green willow stems.

Weave a few thinner hazel branches around the box structure to soften the lines and secure the structure.

Add a few green willow stems.

As you weave, add a curved handle over the top of the bug box.

Glue a few palm leaf and Chrysanthemum petal butterflies to the bug box.

Decorate the structure with flowers, foliage or butterflies

Tie the wedding rings to the bug box with ribbon.
