Glue dried cherry stems with hot glue...

to create a lattice that fits over a container

The small dried stems can easily be stacked into any shape

For my design I stacked the cherry stems into a square with a round circle in the middle

Weave the ripped flax through the cherry stem lattice

Continue to loosely weave the flax through the stems leaving some bits dangling to create a messy nest appearance
