Thin some dye to create a dye bath
See the Tutorial below for suggestions on natural dyes you can use

Soak the sisal in the dye

Press a flexible bamboo section into the sisal

Wrap the bamboo and sisal with a thin string. Fold the bamboo leaves into the string and wrap.

Continue to wrap the string to the required length and secure with a knot at the end.
