Wire and bend foliage

This will work with any long, flat foliage like aspidistra, typha or even long flax leaves. Wipe the blades of grass clean with a soft cloth. Sandwich a thin wire between two blades of grass of equal length and glue.
Bend and shape wired lily grass to make curls or sharp twists. Take care not to bruise the fresh grass as you bend it.
