Weave the ribbon through the twigs...
Space the ribbon out to create almost equal loops. Catch a single twig if it is thick or a few twigs if they are thinner.
Continue weaving in and out of the structure until the ribbon ends meet
Weaving ribbon through the twig cupcake liners
Or weave ribbon through a hand wired twig handbag.
And tie it in a bow
For smaller design (like this twig bracelet) a nail cuticle pusher helps to feed the ribbon through the narrow space between the twigs
Just weave the ribbon until the ends meet...
...and knot to secure
Design note:
This is also a great way to dress up gift hampers or baskets.
