Twig lattice to cover a basket

Press a stick from the one side of the basket to the other.

Add another stick to cross the first one.

Start weaving the sticks when you add the third one. This creates a very secure surface to hang the flowers from.

Add a few shorter twigs to break the pattern and create a randomly spaced lattice. Hang the flowers onto the twig lattice.
