In a design that is meant to be worn the durability is of utmost importance. The first step is to create a large surface to secure the plant material to.
Bend the soft wire in half
See the Tutorial below on how I protect the wire from being scratched by the pliers
Close the loop with pliers
Start to roll the wire.
Remove the pliers and spiral roll the wire to create the flat top
Extend the legs of the wire in parallel.
Curve the wire down and around to create the ring part that wraps around the wearers finger
This design can adjust to fit any size
Split the wire ends open
And wrap the wire ends around the spiral
This creates a large flat surface to work on
That can be easily adjusted
By pulling the loops back
To fit comfortable around your finger

Even long nose pliers without grooves still damage soft aluminum wire. Pad the pliers with a plaster.
