Radiating twig and wool collared Bridal Bouquet

Stem and shape of the design

Measure the dried Hydrangea stem and cut it to size. About two hands or 16-20cm is the ideal length for a hand held bouquet stem or handle. The top dried mop head of the hydrangea will give the bouquet its shape

Separate bits of grass and thread through the dried mop head

Secure the grass to the stem with florist tape

Secure the grass to the stem with florist tape. Glue or wire in a few flowers. Follow the domed shape of the dried flower head.

Continue to add twigs to radiate all the way around the design

These radiating twigs will be the collar of the bouquet. Continue to add twigs to radiate all the way around the design.

Start at the bottom of the dried Hydrangea stem and cover it with wool wire.

Spiral the wire up the stem.

Spiral the wire all the way up the stem and coil the wire to form a flat base at the base of the dried flower head.

Add a larger spiral at the base of the flower head.

:  Fluff out bits of wool and glue it to the twigs to soften the lines
