Twig liners for floral cupcakes

Cut the wire and bend it round
Twist the wire to secure
Adjust the size of the wire circle and twist the end pieces
Cut the wire shorter and crimp it flat with pliers
Make two circles for each floral cup
Cut a few short twigs
Wrap and twist bind wire around the twig
Tie the first twig to the circle and cross the bind wire at the back. Fold the bind wires out. Add the next twig by folding the top bind wire over the wire circle...
... and around to the back
Fold the other bind wire from under the wire circle and over to the back
Give the bind wire a twist at the back and add another twig.
Twisting the bind wire on the inside gives it a neat cross V pattern.
Cross pattern on the outside
Add twigs all around the wire circle
When done with the top add another wire circle and bind the bottom twigs
Cross over the front...
...and twist at the back
Secure the last twig...
... and cut and bend any sharp wires to point into the design
Cut the twigs down to the same length to make sure the cup will stand upright
Twig cup ready to design with.
