Weave a Midelino Cane Tubular Muff Bouquet Armature

Cut the cane coils into sections and glue it into a circle
Glue five cane coil circles
Glue two cane strips to the first circle, one crossing over the other
Weave in the next circle. Let the one strip cross over the circle and the other under
Add another cane strip at an angle
Glue in the partner strip. Again let one strip cross over the circle and the other under
Glue in the next set of strips
This is the basic weaving pattern. One strip under the circle and one strip over.
Continue to add strips until the armature is starting to feel secure. At this point you can start to build up the tube by adding more circles.
Weave in the fourth circle and follow the weaving pattern to secure
Glue in the last circle
Trim the cane strips to fit neatly
Secure the strips with wood glue and clip it wit a butterfly hair-clip to dry in place. See Tutorial below for a more detailed photograph of the butterfly hairclips
