Covering test tubes with potting soil

Paint the test tube with a layer of wood glue...
Sprinkle with potting soil to cover. Repeat if you need more coverage
Set aside to dry completely
Add the test tubes in to the design. The potting soil cover makes the water source almost completely invisible in the design
