On my online workbook this week: Tail end of the story

Dear

This week's inspiration is a the kind of heatwave that makes you pine for the coolness of the forest floor (see what I did there? :o) )

My tip for you this week is for placing the tiny, tiny bits of bark. Use a corsage pin to just pierce the top, pretty side of the bark, just enough so that it gets picked up in the sharp tip of the pin. Hold the bark wood side up (upside down) and spread a layer of floral glue on the wood. Reach into the design with the bark on the tip of the pin to position it exactly where you want it. Hold the bark in place for a few seconds so that it adheres. Gently slip the bark from the pin with your other hand. This way you can place even the smallest pieces of bark exactly where you want it.

Enjoy!

Every good wish,

Christine
