On my online workbook this week: Shine Shade

Dear

This week's inspiration is seeing glimpses of the warmer days to come.

My tip this week… is the water in the vase. No, there’s absolutely no other reason for it to be there- it’s purely more pretty. Okay, maybe it raises the humidity... but mostly, pretty.

As light passes through the water, it bends, distorting the images and objects seen through it creating the most amazing effect as you move around the design to view it. The back grass snippets appear exaggerated (almost like a fish-eye lens) giving the entire design an even more dynamic aesthetic.

Have to admit I swayed this way and that… this way and that to look at the snippets distort for a luxuriously long time.

Enjoy!

Every good wish,

Christine
