On my online workbook this week: Oh this? Yes! it is new

Dear

This week's inspiration is giving the treasures you bring inside a new twist.

Making the most of green sprouting stems you cut from your garden to bring inside. My tip for you this week is to test for tipping points of your design details. Especially when it comes to deceptively simple design ideas that balances at an angle. Also, why… oh… why… are they never ever as easy to do as it seems!?!

I placed my Monstera stem through the hole in the side of a hanging beaker vase to angle it just so…

But simply placing it makes it tip out because it is top heavy. Twisting the leaf in solved the problem. Then the moment I nestled in the heavier gardenia blossom on the leaf the impossible becomes rather stable.

Stable enough for me to fuss and position the rosary vines and sparkling dew drop crystals to be exactly the way I wanted them without the design ever being at risk of tipping.

A simple adjustment in the angle of your plant material can make all the difference.

Enjoy!

Every good wish,

Christine
