On my online workbook this week: Have yourself a Merry Cellulose Fibre Christmas: Gyp flurry Snowman
Dear
This week's inspiration is all those little things (that are actually not quite all that little) we do to show we care.
My tip for you this week is to use a twig to create a small gap to prevent condensation in the bottom vase. It completely disappears in the overall look of the design. Simply place a twig to extend above the edge of the bigger fish bowl vase so that the smaller fishbowl rests against it at a slight angle (or you can even exaggerate that angle to give the snowman a fun jaunty head angle to add a lot of personality!) This way the air can flow freely and the water can evaporate. The vase will remain fog and droplet free.
Another benefit of the twig is that it creates a slight buffer between the two glass bowls and it keeps the glass from cracking even when you add the weight of the water.
Enjoy!
Every good wish,
Christine
ps: I have collected some of my favourite things in my design room into a 2020 gift guide for you. The link is below in the Snippets. I am sharing it only with you guys, as newsletter subscribers, but if you know of someone who is setting up a design space or shopping for someone who loves floral designing feel free to spread the word. If they sign up during the coming week they can read about it again in next week's email.
