On my online workbook this week: Gaps between those in-between Spring days

Dear

This week's inspiration is shivering in the Spring breeze.

Tip for this week is to prevent the design from looking flat from the side. The two leaves, placed stem to stem, created a gap for the orchid to nestle in. But together, the orchid and the two leaves, also create an all important gap for the grass to thread through.

Simply resting the blades of grass on the leaves makes the design look heavy and flat. And you will need to secure the leaves to prevent them from falling out. Rather inspect the levels you can create between the flower head and the leaves to see if you can thread the grass through gaps so that they are slightly lifted to add dimension and movement.

Workshop pre-booking update:

How exciting! Because I am personally answering all the questions and supporting designers in their retreat journey we are taking things slow.

The next batch of pre-booking for my workshop- 7 day floral retreat to jumpstart your creativity will open gradually. If you are eager to book your workshop keep an eye open for spots becoming available this week.

Enjoy!

Every good wish,

Christine
