On my online workbook this week: When it gets chilly

Dear

This week's inspiration is an Autumn stroll.

My tip for you this week is about… for the lack of a better word… glue pearls. I am so often asked how do I glue those leaves to remain just so in my design? My secret: I build up tiny glue pearls so that the needle thin stems have a larger surface to adhere. Place the tiniest drop of hot glue at the stem end. Set aside so that the glue sets. Place another even tinier drop of glue on the first glue drop to create a pearl and hold it in place in your design. It works so, so well that you can now glue the leaves (or tendrils or whatever you want to add) at the exact angle you want even when you glue a needle-thin stem end to a barely there twig.

Enjoy!

Every good wish,

Christine
