On my online workbook this week: What it’s all about

Dear

This week's inspiration is the fresh snow falling on the early signs of Spring here in Vancouver this morning.

My tip for you this week is about strategic saturation when using the glue pouring techniques. Yes, the wood glue I use dries clear but it can still be seen to some extent. Before you pour the glue decide which is your top or seen side and pour this first. The glue needs to run all the way down the twigs but you want to prevent it from pooling at the seen end so that you can conceal the “magic” you used to keep everything in place. Use more glue to run down the design away from the seen side to the unseen side of the design. Then when you flip the design over glue the bottom half without letting the glue run all the way to the top.

Enjoy!

Every good wish,

Christine
