Dear

This week’s inspiration is making an unique connection. My design is the first of two do-it-yourself wedding projects for the autumn issue of DIY Weddings Magazine.

With so many sources of inspiration it can easily become overwhelming to settle on one design feature. My article explores a way to look at trends and pin point what it is you really love. This week we will look at design trends one and two and I will add the third design trend with tutorials next week

Enjoy!

Every good wish,

Christine

Trend Alert

A large hoop or oval design with tightly bound foliage or blooms worn over the shoulder is the latest trend in dramatic runway and body flower design.

Gradual change is also a huge trend in design work at the moment. Designed and arranged from big to small, open to tight bud, light to dark (or to use the fashionable term "Ombré" or shaded). It is all about some aspect that gradually change into its contrast.

How about you?

What is happening in your floral world?
