On my online workbook this week: Transition into Fall

Dear

This week's inspiration is definitely this gorgeous Cattleya. I also have a bonus top heavy flower head tip just for you: for this design it is important that the wreath is in such a position that the flower is fully balanced on the wreath and will not tip over at some point as the wreath dries (see the Tutorial). If you are still concerned that the flower (especially a really heavy flower head like this Cattleya) might tip over, position it in such a way that the flower stem kicks against the horizontal twig (with the stem end in the water) and the flower head leaning slightly away from the horizontal twig giving it extra stability.

Enjoy!

Every good wish,

Christine
