On my online workbook this week: Super Cute!

Dear

This week's inspiration is… the colour of these alstroemeria!!!

Our floral supply is not yet fully restored but oddly enough the flowers we do get are in immaculate condition… strange how that works. Have you experienced the same thing?

My tip for you this week is all about where to place those tendrils. As always, I suggest you look at the natural way the papyrus grows, and then mimic that. Place the tendrils deep into the ambel puff or there where it naturally forks if you want the tendril to be higher up. This way it doesn’t look crafted... and it is a great challenge for you to perfect your floral glue skills! If you do it right it looks natural... like you have discovered something unusual to design with- inviting the onlooker to lean in for a closer look. This is truly fundamental to my own design style. You can read more about this in my book where I talk about Crafting An Illusion- page 273

Enjoy!

Every good wish,

Christine
