Dear

This week’s inspiration is rain on a hot summer afternoon. Perfect in every way.

Enjoy!

Every good wish,

Trend Alert

This seems to be the week of extraordinary flower discoveries. The night flowering Bulbophyllum nocturnum orchid was discovered in New Britain, an island near Papua New Guinea. It’s bearded flower open a few hours after dusk and withers away a few hours after sunrise.

Another unusual discovery is a The Monkey flower. Mimulus peregrines, or "the wanderer” is a hybrid flower discovered in Scotland. Generally hybrid flowers have an odd number of chromosomes, or vast packets of DNA, making them unable to reproduce. But this flower somehow duplicated its entire genome.
