Dear

This week’s inspiration is new growth.

Every winter, especially towards the end of a long, dark and wet winter, you will hear someone grumbling that it might never warm up again.

And then one morning, quite unexpectedly, all the twigs that looked so dead burst with green sprouting leaves and new growth.

Enjoy!

Every good wish,

Christine

Spring Has Sprung!

Trend Alert

Here it is: the most trendy colour combinations for 2012 are: Tangerine with Hot Pink, Turquoise with Lavender and maybe a bit more predictable: Pink with Butter Cream, Yellow with Gray and Lilac with Brown, Black with White. And White... with White.

If you are designing with indoor plants and incorporating Eco-friendly techniques, you are still working with the top trends. And probably will be for a long time to come. The focus right now is on raw, natural and unvarnished design elements. Let the roots spill, let the planter rust and add a few grasses and large bits of bark.
