On my online workbook this week: Spoiler alert: It is one thousand… that’s how many!

Dear

This week's inspiration is … 1000! And here it is, I am adding Tutorial number 1000 to my website. Wow… that really is a whole lot of Tutorials.

My tip for you this week is all about creating magic… the goal is always, always to make it look as if your design simply and effortlessly grew this way. You know, making an effort to make it all appear effortless.

Once you remove the tape the roots are tangled on top of the cake stand. There is a bit of a disconnect between the display container and the design. Carefully tease out some of the roots so that they spill over the edge (see the picture above) of the container. This not only softens the look of the ceramic edge but also adds to the illusion that it simply grew that way. Like the wheatgrass is magically hovering on top of the cake stand.

And of course because the grass grew in a tight shape over nine days the roots are all tangled up enough to allow you to tease out a few to hang over the edge without the shape falling apart.

Enjoy!

Every good wish,

Christine
