On my online workbook this week: Short Cut

Dear

This week's inspiration is Spring dreaming of the wonderful plant material not yet ready to cut.

My tip for you today is about securing these knots. Any rope or ribbon or fiber based knot can be permanently secured with wood glue. Drop a small amount of wood glue on the double knot so that it soaks in and sets and stays secure. The glue dries clear and hard and the knot will now not come undone no matter how much it is wiggled or used.

Oh! and also... you can use the wood glue to set the fiber (or ribbon) in a decorative way. Soak it in glue and prop it up as you want it... for instance in a spiral or in a direction to look wind blown. Once dry remove the support and the fiber will now be set. Here is an example: Forest Experience

Enjoy!

Every good wish,

Christine
