This week’s inspiration is the power of suggestion. It is everywhere. You can find it in a song or in something someone says. It is the things that go round and round in your head until you find a way to process it into inspiration.
The trend for floral fashion continues to inspire and elaborate designs are still included in many design shows. On the 4th of February the Charodeyki Image Studio organized the Flower Fashion Show 2012, for which floral artist Araik Galstyan created a sweeping 12 meter long flower dress using 2 000 purple Vanda orchids. Midelino flat wooden coils have had a meteoric rise in popularity as the trendiest armature design medium. Used as a veneer or fastened into loops or cut and glued into a globe shape, we will see a lot of Midelino designs in the coming months.
