On my online workbook this week: Loop-the-loop
Dear
The inspiration for this week is actually letting go of the old and making space for the new. I was clearing out my Summer closet to make space for my Autumn things when I noticed these clear acrylic purse holders. And it was like a slideshow of inspiration was happening in my head! There is so much we can do with this! I am adding an affiliate link for the exact acrylic holders that I used. They are smooth, robust and refined. You can even use them to display your floral jewelry or bag designs in competitions… I told you I am inspired!
My design note is about an emergency wick to mop up debris and water spills.
The best way to adjust the water in a water-tube is with a syringe. I add a tube to my syringe so that I can wiggle it into the tightest of corners and adjust (squirt some water in or suck water out if it is too full) the water as needed. But what if there are bits of broken plant material or debris in the water tube that will clog up the syringe?
Bits of debris in the water tube or spilled water and bits of debris on the battery operated candle can be soaked up with a paper towel. Fold a paper towel into a cone (see the pictures above), like the classic pyramid fold of a napkin. And dip it into the water tube or candle surface to soak up the water and clear away any debris.
Quick and easy.
Enjoy!
Every good wish,
Christine
