On my online workbook this week: Lei-way

Dear

This week's inspiration is how rest (and recharging) is part of doing the work.

My tip for you this week is to make sure you have a clear strategy on how you will hydrate your flowers in a reusable armature. For my design I wanted to make sure I have a few options. First is to use sturdy dried material… and/or material that needs almost no attention to remain pretty such as the Tillandsia (succulents and airplants can be added to a design and will look pretty without a water source for quite a few weeks) ... then I added tiny drinking straw tubes right into the armature for shorter stems (you can find the Tutorial below the design on how I make the tubes) another way is to fill the container with water and let the flowers rest in the armature with the stems happily in the water container. And depending on the availability of plant material you can design using any of the options… or all!

Enjoy!

Every good wish,

Christine
