On my online workbook this week: Into a Puddle!
Dear
This week's inspiration is remaining hydrated.
... because wow... just wow.
Things heated up pretty quickly… and rather spectacularly here in the Pacific Northwest over the last couple of days. We got caught in a record breaking heat dome- a mountain of hot air acting as a block in the atmosphere compressing hot air inside. And as inspiration goes? I met a gorgeous sparkling dragonfly while (yet again) topping up the shallow puddles I placed outside for the pollinators to drink from and my idea for the design was sparked… let’s keep it cool. Quite literally.
My tip for you this week is about fishing out those dropped crystals from the water. It happens. You can easily find yourself chasing around the tiny floating crystals that you misplaced and dropped into the water forever not catching up with them. My solution is to give the floating crystal a tap so that it sinks to the bottom. You can now go in and pick up the crystal with tweezers or a skewer by pressing it into the glue side of the crystal and lifting it out. Set the crystal aside to dry before adding it back into the design. Works every time.
Enjoy!
Every good wish,
Christine
