On my online workbook this week: Hope Bubble

Dear

This week's inspiration is creating our own bubble.

My tip(s) for you this week has something to do with both tips of the tulip flower. Firstly cut away the white end of the stem before you design. This white part means the grower harvested the flower by pulling it from the bulb. This is a great way to help the flower conserve moisture when transported. But once you get it home you want to fully hydrate the flower so snip away that bit.

My other tip is on the other tip… tulips continue to grow once cut so position the flower head so that it rests on the edge of the container to peak out above, instead of sinking down below the water as it matures.

Enjoy!

Every good wish,

Christine

ps: I have two Tutorials for you this week so make sure to see the links below the design post

Have a look at my all new behind the scenes/how did it come about/how did I think of writing that The Effortless Floral Craftsman book page - now with your reviews.

Here is Lynne's ( @kuhlworld ) review. (... and if your review is not yet there I would love to add it)

And also... yay! Last week I told you about my book price being rather odd at the moment. I am happy to tell you that they have adjusted it back to where it should be. You can again order the book from Amazon Canada although it takes a bit longer than usual or from Amazon US shipping in a few days. Like always you can still order your copy from your local independent bookstore.

How about you?
