On my online workbook this week: Gently down the stream

Dear

This week's inspiration is... finding that "this would be perfect for this" kind of twig. Because, really, these tiny twigs that I used to secure the banana leaf pockets with sets the tone for this week's design. And it's all in finding the exact right size twig.

Hint: If the leaf rips when you secure them the twig is too thick. If the twig snaps it is too thin. Just right and it makes the task so much easier.

ps: no, I don't think staples will do the trick. It might be easier to use but staples look rather unsightly in this type of design where craftsmanship becomes your focal point. What do you think?
