With the scary trend of the Halloween season being dominated by all things Zombie you can count on at least a bit of a spill over on to the design world. Rough stitches are right on trend. You will find them on the edges of ribbon, carved into pumpkins or painted onto vases even iced on cupcakes or cake pops.

And looking a bit further ahead to Christmas decorations: this will be the year of half and half wreaths. Decorate only one half of a twig wreath and leave the other side bare or one half green and one half red or wrap one half in burlap and the other in greenery. The possibilities are endless!
