On my online workbook this week: Fall into Christmas

Dear

This week's inspiration is using the last of my Fall treasures from my design room pantry.

My tip for you this week is to carefully tease out bits of the greenery to cover the line. Not so much that the greenery flops over but just enough to conceal some of it and give it a continuous look.

Slip your courage pin (or bamboo skewer, if you prefer) under the greenery and tease it out. Place it back over the line and if need be tuck the tip back in behind another section of greenery to keep it in place. I found this gives the design a nice finished off look.

Remember to top up (or replace) the water to keep the greenery fresh without any treatments. Place the design in a room that is bright (for the lights to recharge) but out of the direct sun (for the greenery to last) Enjoy!

Every good wish,

Christine

ps: This concludes my series of Soft Transition designs where I show ideas that are a bit autumny… and a bit Christmassy for this in-between design season. Next week… Christmas Trends!
