On my online workbook this week: Creative Direction

Dear

This week's inspiration is when the weather is... just right.

My tip for you this week is a reminder not to drown the flowers. Like always, the flowers will dictate what vase you choose. But with this design it’s more than just for the look of the design.

Measure the side of the vase against the size of the flower head. It should be high enough so that the flower can hook over the top edge and still hang down long enough for you to add ample water so that the flowers remain hydrated- but without the waterline being so high that it pools heavily in the petals to keep it from dragging down and causing it to spoil too quickly.

A just-right vase really is a treasure, right?

Have a fun and flower filled week. Enjoy!

Every good wish,

Christine
