On my online workbook this week: Cone of Gratitude

Dear

This week's inspiration is gratitude.

My tip this week is both easy... and hard! This design is all in the position of the Monstera leaf on the stem. Easy if you happen to have two leaves... hard if you have to coax the leaf into this shape to begin with. Choose a leaf that points down so that it fits comfortable in the bud vase (see inspiration picture above)

When choosing a water tube make sure not only the tube sinks into the foliage cone but consider the flowers as well.

You will need to alter the size of the cone from narrow to wide for a flat flower like a Gerbera.

For a Carnation a long and narrow foliage tube works best because of the base of the flower.

You will need about 3cm above the water tube for the flower to comfortably sink into the cone.

Enjoy!

Every good wish,

Christine
