Love them or hate them, paper flowers are a huge trend right now in design work. I love making paper flowers, but using them... not so much. I’ve added new Paper Flower Tutorials on my workbook for coffee filter sweat peas and carnations (also includes instructions for roses, blossoms, kalanchoe, lilies and orchids).

Hanging a few extra long dangling frills, streamers or ribbons is the latest upcoming trend introduced in both fashion and event design. Let the ribbon dangle, all messy and tangled like kite tails streaming in the wind or hang straight and neatly spaced. It is a low cost, high impact design accessory.
