On my online workbook this week: Center Peace

Dear

This week's inspiration is all rather uplifting. My tip this week is to strategically prop up design details that might wilt to create a lasting and fresh looking design. If you look carefully you will notice that I glued in dried vine tendrils to create an overall up turn to the bulk of the tendrils and then simply manipulated and hooked some of the stronger tendrils to lightly drape in an overall “up” position to keep the design from looking wilted as the vines dry.

Because the bulk of the tendrils now look fresh and preserved I could leave the leftover impossible-to-condition new growth tendrils (well… almost impossible, I do have a hint on how to add new growth that will last into a design in my book) to wilt naturally to add a haze of downward pointing lines that creates a visually interesting contrast to the more established tendrils without it looking droopy and flat.

Enjoy!

Every good wish,

Christine
