On my online workbook this week: Besprinkle Birthday besparkle!

This week’s inspiration is my book’s birthday. Seth Godin once said "Here's the thing: the book that will most change your life is the book you write” and the Effortless Floral Craftsman absolutely changed my life.

I discovered that what I stand for, as a flower arranger writing this book and I discovered that the things I think up to share every week, my creative and authentic design solutions are... useful! The book sold out before I even shared a single picture of it. It went on to become an Amazon best seller. The Effortless Floral Craftsman received the highest Independent Book publishing honour, An Independent Press Award, for outstanding quality. And in 2020, the book was included in the permanent collection of Library and Archives Canada, an archive to preserve knowledge for future generations.

Happy Birthday Effortless Floral Craftsman. And thank you to you for being part of this creative journey.

My design note for you this week is if you find that your crystals drop and the glue is not quite tacky enough double up on the crystals. Matching the crystals in pairs create a crystal and glue "sandwich" that will ensure the crystals stay exactly where you want them and your design can be viewed from all sides with an equal amount of sparkle.
