On my online workbook this week: All your Christmases…

Dear

This week's inspiration is... and so we roll into the Festive Season…

My tip for you this week is to create exaggerated crinkly petal openings to nestle the flowers and berries in. Simply allow a stem of foliage to dehydrate for a day- see the picture below. By taking the leaves out of water they will start to ruffle as they dry. You can also look for a more mature bunch and a fresher bunch and craft them together.

Start with the freshest leaf you have so that it can roll up tightly without damaging. And then after about four or five leaves in your roll start adding the dryer leaves, alternating them with fresh leaves. Gently roll the more dehydrated leaves so that they do not break or crack and then wrap the roll a bit tighter again when you roll in a fresher leaf.

Enjoy!

With kind thoughts and all good wishes for a Merry Berry Kalanchoe Christmas,

Christine
