On my online workbook this week: All That Potential

Dear

This week's inspiration is minimal effort for maximum impact. Perfect for the start of the year.

My tip for you today is as practical as it is pretty. A snow blizzard in a vase without any fuss!

The twigs and the kalanchoe flowers are so long lasting that you will probably keep the winter display for a few weeks. Part of its prettiness is the fact that it is so clear and minimal so dirty water in the vase will completely spoil the effect.

To add snow in the vases without having to replace it all the time, do it only once and then let it settle like a blizzard to the side of the vase.

Sprinkle the artificial snow on the water. Slowly pour the water out to one side. The snow will stick to the vase and no longer be settled on the water. You can now easily replace the water and if it gets dirty over time. To change the water, pour the water out to the other side, leaving the snow still stuck to the vase at the opposite side. And pour fresh water in, again from the clear side without disturbing the snow on the other side of the bud vases.

Once ready to clean the vases simply rinse out the snow.

Enjoy!

Every good wish,

Christine
