Dear

The moral of our fourth fable is: Never be afraid to go down a new road; you don’t know what great things it might lead to!

This week’s second inspiration is talking in code. I wanted to wrap up my demonstration with a message to the wonderful members of the Capilano Flower Arranging Club. I decided to use the Victorian language of flowers (floriography) to send my message.

This is the last Floral Fable demonstration design, next week I will return to publishing one design and newsletter per week.

Enjoy!

Every good wish,

Christine

Trend Alert

Raw wood is a big design trend right now. Use a chunk of wood as a coffee table, hollow it out as a plant-pot, or drill a hole and glue in a wire as a floral art stand - and you are right on trend.

Wool is still popular in design work but it is now used differently. Previously natural (or dyed) chunky wool was used to make felt. Now processed wool is used as colourful accents to wrap, knit or Crochet accessories.

How about you?
