On my online workbook this week: Why make an effort?
Dear
This week’s inspiration is without a doubt our water restrictions here in Vancouver. It is a full time job keeping foliage from rolling up…so of course I brought them indoors… and rolled them up.
Want to know how to save yourself some pain while tucking any plant material low into a Kenzan?
Use a glue stick! It is a rubbery “press and tuck" stick that can help guide delicate foliage into the teeth of your Kenzan without you getting hurt. Simply reach in and press the plant material into the teeth. The moment you feel resistance from the glue stick you know the plant material is securely speared.
Rinse the glue stick, set it aside to dry and continue to use it as normal. No harm done.
Enjoy!
Every good wish,
Christine
