On my online workbook this week: Where do you even start looking?

Dear

This week's inspiration is just enough sunlight. Summer is too bright for me, winter can get too dark towards the end. But this time of the year… perfect!

My tip for you is about weaving and interweaving with grasses. You know the firm white part of the grass where you cut the blade? That is also your “needle”. You can use this firmer end to guide the grass through the weave and then let the floppy end part dangle to finish off at the end.

Finishing off the softer, floppy end, at the end, gives you more design options. Firstly you can curl the grass where they naturally fall and secondly if you choose to weave in the dangling bits once all the grass is incorporated it creates an even stronger weave and the entire design will look more pulled together because the first blades of grass woven in is now also woven in over the last bits of grass.

Hope you will have a lovely Easter weekend. With enough sun… and shade… just the way you like it.

Enjoy!

Every good wish,

Christine
